There is a saying “Rome was not built in a day”. People use this phrase to encourage others to work hard and persevere in order to accomplish any major achievement; no great work can be fast tracked within a short space of time. The origin of this saying actually comes from the myth about how Rome was founded by two brothers raised by she-wolves, Romulus and Remus. They killed the emperor and built the city Rome overnight. The legend goes that Rome was built overnight, not one whole day.
